Year End Official League Stats

These stats are compiled only with information from the official leagues. So while this is already impressive there are dozens of tournaments and unofficial leagues in addition to these numbers presented.

73,178 Matches Played – 1,000+ Throwers – 731,780 Knives Thrown

Collective distance walked in lanes

Considering the number of games and that two people are playing each, the individual times walked back and forth from the target each time. In each of those matches from both distances, an individual walks 105ft per match. 210ft per match for both players

7,317,800 feet walked all year in the lanes, which is 1385.94 miles

That’s about 5 times the length of the Grand Canyon. You could walk 76% of the way around Mercury in that distance!

Goals for Next Year

In 2026, we aim to continue league growth. We’re at an exciting time where there’s a lot of potential to change things for the better so we’re going to be working on updates to the rules to keep our competitions fresh. Our focus on sustainability will also guide operational improvements. We will also be looking forward to an exciting new visit to the U.S. Open in a new sports event hosted in partnership with a well-established sports organization, so be on the lookout for information about that in the new year!
