2026 U.S. Open Tournament

We are excited to announce the 2026 US Open, taking place September 18-20th, 2026 at The Axe Trap in Winter Park, Florida!

The US Open has long been one of the premier events on the annual World Axe Throwing League and WKTL tournament calendar, bringing together competitors from across the continent, and sometimes the world, for a weekend of high-level competition and community.

After a successful return in 2025, the US Open continues its next chapter with a new host venue in a location it’s never been before: beautiful sunny Florida, USA! The Axe Trap provides the perfect environment for competitors and spectators alike, with a very strong axe throwing community, and a location that makes it easy for attendees to travel to, justify, and be confident that their tournament weekend will be one to remember.

Whether you’re looking to earn your direct bid to WAKTC, chasing the last few Circuit Points you need, or you’re just looking to be a part of one of the classic axe throwing tournaments, the 2026 US Open will have something for just about everyone.
