Compete For $3000 in Prize Money

The World Knife Throwing League is hosting the inaugural WKTL US Open at Bad Axe Throwing in Atlanta, GA! Sixty-four Knife Throwers will compete for the title of US Open Champion on ESPN.

This event will be held over the same weekend as the World Axe Throwing League’s 2021 US Open. More information about the WATL US Open can be found on the WATL website.

Thursday, April 8th

12pm: Walk-Ins

Friday, April 9th

12pm: Check-In and Walk-Ins

2pm: WKTL Tournament Begins

Sunday, April 11th

2pm: Championship Tournament

Tournament Format

WKTL will be split into two double-elimination tournament brackets. The winner of each bracket will appear on ESPN for a single-elimination match to determine the US Open Champion for WKTL.

Knife Specifications

WKTL approved knives will be mandatory at the tournament, there will be a limited quantity of WKTL brand knives at the Merchandise Booth at the US Open.

WKTL’s official knife, ‘The Stinger’ can be purchased through the WKTL webstore.

Any World Axe Throwing League Member will be eligible for tickets to the WKTL US Open! Tickets will be available March 1st at 3 pm on a first-come, first-serve basis and can be purchased.

Jerseys

Official jerseys are required to participate in the US Open. For the 2021 US Open, WATL Jerseys will be acceptable. Please order through this website. Should you like to submit a sponsor to be approved on you logo please see the guidelines and submission form here.

Price: from 119 USD per night for attendees of the US Open.

The last day to book a room is Friday, March 26, 2021.

Hyatt Place Atlanta / Centennial Park

Price: from 129 USD per night for attendees of the US Open.

These matches will be presided over by the Judges, but scored by players. Make sure to read over the WKTL Rules and Regulations in order to be fully prepared for the Tournament!
